The United Way of Westchester and Putnam has been helping the community on multiple fronts since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. 

From convening community partners, to food drives and distribution, needs surveys and meetings with businesses and nonprofits, United Way of Westchester and Putnam staff members have been working around the clock to ensure that residents in need have essential resources at this unprecedented time.

Its 2-1-1 Helpline has helped over 21,000 people connect to resources such as food, medical resources, child care and more.

United Way is also awarding grants up to $5,000 each to Westchester nonprofits that are aiding the most vulnerable.
