Westchester Office of Economic Development Bounce Back Survey

Take it Today! When the pandemic started, the Office of Economic Development sent out a survey that helped them focus on the needs of businesses and nonprofit organizations. They created webinars, helped with loan applications, and provided direct grants. They want to hear from you once again so they can help you to Bounce Back.  Please take this survey and share it widely, so our partners in government can hear from as many people and organizations as possible. The deadline for submission is close of business on Monday, April 26.

SHOUT OUTS

A tremendous shout out with gratitude to NY State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins for supporting a “people-centered budget” and championing the issues tirelessly addressed by the nonprofit sector. Over 130 people attended our NPW Nonprofit Budget Forum on April 16th and heard directly from the Senate Majority Leader. Subscribe to the Senate Majority Leader's newsletter here.

Recognizing the importance of addressing the impact of the pandemic on all their staff members, the Youth Shelter Program of Westchester, signed up their entire staff for NPW’s upcoming event Addressing Trauma and Vicarious Trauma on May 20.

“It’s our responsibility to provide equitable opportunities for staff at all levels to heal and have their emotions validated, and it is our collective responsibility to equip the team with all the tools to continue doing the work that needs to be done.” - Joanne Dunn, Executive Director, Youth Shelter Program of Westchester
