    Registration is open for the YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester's Racial Equity 101-103 workshop series. Get a foundational grounding or refresher in racial equity concepts and tools. Attendees are expected to attend all 3 two-hour workshops in succession either on Thursdays at 6 PM or Saturdays at 9 AM.     Please complete and share the Westchester Children's Association's 2022 Digital Access Survey if you have a school-age child and live in Westchester County. This survey was developed in partnership with Pace University and is available in English and Spanish. When you are done, please forward the link below to your friends, family, and colleagues. This survey is open until March 30, 2022. No personal information will be collected so that all responses will be kept anonymous.

    Mutual of America Community Partnership Award

    The Mutual of America Community Partnership Award recognizes outstanding nonprofit organizations that have shown exemplary leadership by facilitating partnerships with public, private or social sector leaders. Five organizations are selected by an independent committee to receive the Community Partnership Award. One receives the Thomas J. Moran Award, which is given to the national award-winning program and includes a $100,000 grant and a documentary video about the program. The remaining four are named honorable mention recipients, and each receives a $50,000 grant. All nonprofit organizations are eligible.

    WestFair Rides - a small local nonprofit with impact across Westchester County has changed its name to TRA (Transportation Resources Access), and announced the launch of brand new website and new online resource Hub. The organization provides thousands of rides to medical appointments each year and now will additionally support the community with a one-stop hub for information and referrals to social services for older adults and adults with disabilities.

    Field Hall Awards Over $300,000 in New Grants to Address the Needs of Older Adults

    Field Hall Foundation has announced $302,000 in new grants through its Winter 2021/22 grant cycle. 13 grants, ranging from $2,000 to $50,000, have been awarded to organizations that will provide new or enhanced services to improve the lives of older adults and their caregivers.
