The Office of Congressman Bowman is gearing up to submit Appropriations Requests for Fiscal Year 2023. As part of this process, Congressman Bowman will be able to submit 15 "Community Project Funding" requests for consideration by the House Appropriations Committee. These requests are for funds to be directed specific projects in our community (you can find examples of last year's requests here). Only certain federal funding accounts are eligible for community project funding. List of federal accounts that public and nonprofit entities can apply for this year.
How to Apply for Community Project Funding: - Visit https://bowman.house.gov/fy23-appropriations-requests. The application form you fill out should correspond to the Subcommittee through which you are seeking funding.
- For each funding account, there are strict guidelines on what are considered eligible activities for funding. Please read the instructions at the top of the relevant application form in full to determine if your project meets the guidelines.
- As part of the application process, you will need to provide evidence of community support.
The deadline to apply for funding through Bowman's office is April 15th, 2022.
