Pay Up NY State: Tell NYS What You’re Owed

Pay Up NY State: Services Delivered. Payment Due.

Nonprofit services aren’t late - NY State payments shouldn’t be either. If your organization has already delivered contracted services and has not been paid, fill out this form now to report the amount NY State owes you. Your response documents the real cost of delayed payments and strengthens the case for accountability for promises made by Governor Hochul. Your information will only be used by the governor’s team to address your contracting issues and will not be shared publicly.

Supporting Not-for-Profits That Serve New Yorkers

"Not-for-profit providers deliver critical services across the state and rely on timely, predictable state payments. Governor Hochul will direct all state agencies to provide consistent guidance on reimbursement timing and eligible expenses, helping not-for-profit organizations better serve New Yorkers."  (Governor's State of the State Address)

Nonprofits are a critical part of New York’s safety net and economic sector [add specifics about the work your org/field does]. However, New York State’s nonprofit contracting process is broken. Challenges in New York’s not-for-profit contracting and payment processes result in financial crisis, staffing instability and fewer services for clients, undermining the goals of the contracts. [Optional to add any specific examples – how long your contracts have been delayed, the hardship it has created for your organization].

We are grateful to the legislature – especially Senator Mayer and Assemblymember Paulin – for their work on this issue, and we ask that that commitment continue until we find a solution to support New York’s nonprofit organizations and the people we serve.
