NPW's Spring Networking Breakfast was an enormous success! Thank you to the 100+ attendees at last Friday's NPW Networking Breakfast at the Hudson Grille. With a great mix of nonprofits, businesses, and sponsors, the energy in the room was contagious!

Healthcare Talent Pipeline Program - Summer 2023 Session Enrollment Now Open

The new Healthcare Talent Pipeline Program (HTPP) funded by Westchester County will train individuals to become a Clinical Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant. Successful candidates will earn a NYS approved training credential, receive job readiness training and be connected to leading healthcare partners in Westchester County. BOCES Info, WCC Info.

United Way Community Impact Fund

The United Way of Westchester and Putnam Community Impact Fund supports local nonprofits serving the needs of the underprivileged, marginalized, or ALICE (those who are employed but are living paycheck-to-paycheck) populations in Westchester or Putnam Counties. United Way is offering grants between $5,000 and $10,000. Submission deadline: May 15, 2023. More Information

The Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health 4 Request for Proposals

The RFP’s include the following for the Westchester County Opioid Response and Overdose Prevention Initiative:

  • Integrated Co-Occurring Substance Misuse and Mental Health Treatment Services
  • Recovery Services
  • Primary Prevention Services
  • Harm Reduction Services

Governor Hochul Announces Availability of $2.2 Million For Programs to Connect New Yorkers With Addiction Services

Administered by the state Office of Addiction Services and Supports, the Connections to Care initiative will provide up to 11 grants for eligible providers to connect individuals in high-need and underserved populations to the services that will support long-term substance use disorder recovery and overall well-being.

Funding will be awarded through a request for applications process. Eligibility details are outlined in the request for applications. Full press release.

Yield Giving Open Call - MacKenzie Scott Grant Opportunity

MacKenzie Scott is launching a $250 million “open call” for community-focused nonprofits. Through her organization Yield Giving, Mackenzie plans to make unrestricted $1 million donations to 250 nonprofits selected in the process, which she calls a “new pathway to support for organizations making positive change in their communities.” 

NBCUniversal Local Impact Grants

NBC 4 New York and Telemundo 47 have announced and opened up applications for the 2023 NBCUniversal Impact Grants. Field Hall 2023 Grant Cycle - Now Accepting Letters of Inquiry

Field Hall is now accepting Letters of Inquiry for their Fall 2023 grant cycle. The deadline to submit is May 31st and grants will be awarded at the end of September.
