June Primary and Early Voting Information

June 28 is primary day for all local, state and federal offices other than State Senate and U.S. House of Representatives. (The primaries for State Senate and U.S. House of Representatives will be held August 23.)

A nine-day early voting period for the June Primary begins Saturday, June 18. Registered voters eligible to vote in their party’s primary will be able to cast their ballot at any of the County’s 23 designated Early Voting locations during the hours listed below:

Please note that due to a recent change in law, NYS voters are no longer permitted to cast a ballot on a voting machine if they have requested to vote by Absentee Ballot. Voters who have requested to vote by Absentee Ballot can still vote in-person using an affidavit ballot.

How can I find out more about Early Voting?
You can contact the office at (914) 995-5700 or the State Board of Elections at (518) 474-1953 or the New York State Board of Elections website.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness Waiver

Last year, the U.S. Department of Education announced a temporary period during which borrowers may receive credit for payments that previously did not qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) or Temporary Expanded PSLF (TEPSLF). This waiver makes it easier for public service employees to receive credit for more payments. However, this waiver currently expires on October 31, 2022. Please share with your staff and encourage them to apply by Oct. 31. Learn More

Save the Date: July 14th, 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, NPW, Westchester Jewish Community Services and Nonprofit New York will host a virtual training. An email with details and registration will be sent on Thursday, July 23rd.
