Dear NPW Community:

This special newsletter, carefully researched, is intended to offer new data, resources and perspectives to address more current and decades-long issues that prevent our communities from reaching their full potential as places where all people have opportunities to live, work, attend school, recreate and thrive.

We frame the talent crisis and other relevant and related issues through an equity lens and ask the questions:

  • Has the status quo – which is no longer working, and in fact, harming many individuals and groups - been productively and authentically challenged?

  • What actions are being taken to dismantle systems that maintain the power structure and serve to oppress BIPOC, differently abled people and women?

  • Have new voices been welcomed to the table and have they been meaningfully included?

We hope you will you these resources to take action and advance needed change.

With appreciation,
Jan
