In the face of ever-increasing costs and onerous compliance requirements for Nonprofit organizations, NPW and Charles Newman and Company created the following survey to gauge your interest in banding together to participate in a packaged, group discounted program for payroll, insurance, and HR and Compliance tools. NY State Grants Gateway
The Grants Gateway system allows organizations to find, apply for and manage NY State grants. There is a pre-qualification process and other requirements that agencies often find onerous. If Westchester organizations demonstrate enough interest, NPW will work with Assemblyman Burdick's office to coordinate a Grants Gateway training.

Our friends at Sharc Creative have offered to share their On Hold Messaging solution on a trial basis NPW Members and Sponsors. On hold messaging can help engage your callers, tell your story, and provide value.
Keep callers engaged with updated information about potential revisions as we head back to the office, as well as an exciting schedule of opportunities. Showcase your brand and highlight what makes your brand so special. Sharc would be willing to write, produce and allow the messaging to be used licensing free right now through July 31 as businesses are coming back to the office. No obligation plan now through July, and if you decide to use the program after the trial, Sharc will offer you a NPW discounted plan going forward. (Plans range from $600- $1225 a year). Sharc's website has industry samples, an extensive music library and a professional voice talent pool to glean over to help with the process. They currently work with Nonprofits including The Child Care Council, Today's Students Tomorrow's Teachers, The YMCA and WIHD.

NEW! Grants Available for Programs that Improve the Lives of Older Adults & Caregivers
Field Hall Foundation is now accepting letters of inquiry for the Fall 2021 grant cycle. The deadline for consideration is July 12th. Grants will be awarded to programs and projects that directly impact the lives of older adults and their caregivers in Dutchess, Putnam & Westchester counties. Priority is given to those that focus on seniors’ and caregivers’ most basic needs, including: Home-based care services, respite services, safety and security, transportation, food insecurity.

$105 Million In Grant Funding For Nonprofit Arts And Cultural Organizations And Artists
Funding through the New York State Council on the Arts, including a program to reinvigorate near-term live performances, will aid in the arts sector's multi-year recovery from COVID-19 and spur the revitalization of New York's creative economy, which fosters $123 billion annually in economic activity and supports more than 500,000 jobs statewide. Youth Employment and Training Services RFP
The County of Westchester acting by and through its Department of Social Services, Office of Workforce Investment, on behalf of the Westchester-Putnam Local Workforce Development Board is requesting proposals from qualified proposers to provide employment and training services for youth under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014, PL 113-128, and its implementing regulations. $750M in State Economic Development Resources Round XI of the Regional Economic Development Council initiative includes more than $750 million in state economic development resources. The Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) is now open, enabling businesses, municipalities, not-for-profits and the public to begin applying for assistance from dozens of state programs for job-creation and community development projects.

Grants Available for Accessibility Modifications to Your Home
Westchester Residential Opportunities is making free grants available under our Funding for Accessibility Modifications Program. This grant program is designed to make housing more accessible for individuals with physical disabilities, to promote independent living. Elias Activist Fellowship Program
The goal of the program is to strengthen and build social justice movements by developing activists’ skills and capacities in the Hudson Valley. The Foundation hopes to identify and support the work of people from the grassroots (local movement building) and/or frontline communities (those hardest hit by injustice and inequality). New Fund to Empower Youth & Invest in BIPOC Communities
The Foot Locker Foundation, the charitable arm of the shoe company, is working together with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation to launch a $3 million program that will fund nonprofit serving youth in communities of color in New York City and other cities. The Local Initiatives Support Corporation will issue a request for proposals on May 1.
