A full-day Mental Health First Aid Training for Nonprofit EDs, CEOs, Managers & Supervisors was held on September 13th through a collaborative effort between WJCS and NPW.
|
|
This important opportunity taught participants how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. Just like CPR for physical health, Mental Health First Aid equips people with the tools and understanding to respond to mental health challenges and crises. Thank you to the program instructors Paula Santa-Donato and Quaneisha Wilson.

Nonprofit Westchester is proud to announce that our Executive Director, Jan Fisher has been appointed to Governor Hochul’s Not-for-Profit Contracting Advisory Committee. The Governor has accepted Senate Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins' recommendation and made this appointment.

The Field Hall Foundation is now accepting Letters of Inquiry for their Winter 2023-24 grant cycle. The deadline to submit is October 3rd and grants will be awarded at the end of January 2024.
