On February 15th, NPW held an Exploratory Meeting for a potential Information Technology Affinity Group. Over a dozen IT professionals discussed the importance of sharing information and best practices to help nonprofits function efficiently and effectively in IT. If you are interested in learning more, please contact the group facilitator Cora Greenberg.

On February 16th, over 80 members of the nonprofit community joined NPW for our Top Legal Issues & Governance Issues For Nonprofits program. WWA New Research Study Reveals Status of Women in Westchester

Westchester Women’s Agenda (WWA) recently released a research study showing that despite gains in several sectors of women's lives, the lack of affordable housing and childcare costs remain perennial issues facing them. The research report, drawing on U.S. Census data and other sources, revealed a mixed picture for how women, especially those of limited means, are faring in Westchester County. The new Healthcare Talent Pipeline Program (HTPP) funded by Westchester County will train individuals to become a Clinical Medical Assistant or Medical Administrative Assistant. Successful candidates will earn a NYS approved training credential, receive job readiness training and be connected to leading healthcare partners in Westchester County. Impact100 Westchester Boost Grant

Impact100 Westchester announces a new Boost Grant for 2023 with the goal of helping smaller Westchester Nonprofits make a larger Impact in our community. Three $5,000 grants will be awarded. The recipients of the Boost will be announced on May 8 and recognized at the Impact100 Annual Meeting on June 6, 2023. The portal with the simple Boost application opens February 1st, with applications due by February 24, 2023. Impact100 Website.
