July 25, 11:00 AM, Virtual: Public Policy Committee Meeting, Members Only
Join us for an update on NPW’s success in advancing Progress on NPW State Advocacy on Prompt Contracting and Procurement and what advocacy is needed.
With gratitude to Senator Shelley Mayer and her team, Assemblymember Amy Paulin and her team and Deanne Braveman, Senior Vice President, Mercury Public Affairs, LLC, we are pleased that S.4877-B sponsored to Senate Shelley Mayer and A.2740-B sponsored by Assembly Member Amy Paulin has passed the Assembly and Senate. This is monumental as this Bill has not previously passed the Assembly. These Bills define noncompliant state agency; provides for timelines and procedures for state agency contracts involving not-for-profit corporations. There is more to go as we continue to work with the legislature and reach out to the Governor to ensure enactment into law – join us to learn how you can reach out to Governor Hochul and help ensure that this Bill becomes Law.
