Shout out to the amazing hosts at the Carver Center - thank you Anne Bradner, CEO, and Daniel Bonnet, Chief Program Officer!

NPW’s Regional Nonprofit Meet-Ups provided a valuable opportunity for nonprofits to connect, share their missions, and explore collaboration opportunities. Hear what our nonprofit members had to say below!

“I love networking events, but this was an amazing, intimate opportunity with immediate results. It was so inspiring to be reminded of all the incredible services in our community and find ways to partner to meet the needs of our residents.”

“Great event this afternoon. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and I managed to make a few helpful connections.”

Over 50 participants joined us for the "Your AI Adoption Plan" virtual event on June 27. Enormous thanks to our presenters from RoundTable Technology for expertly leading such a timely and informative program: Kim Snyder, VP of Data Strategy, and Joshua Peskay, 3CPO.

This interactive session highlighted the strategic considerations and practical steps for integrating artificial intelligence into your organization's activities and initiatives. If you missed this event, you can watch the recording here.

ALICE: Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed, earning above the Federal Poverty Level but less than what’s needed to survive in the current economy. ALICE workers include childcare providers, home health aides and cashiers — those working low-wage jobs, with little or no savings and one emergency from poverty.

Though wages for the lowest paid jobs have risen across the country at the fastest rate in four decades, the number of households struggling to get by in Westchester grew by approximately 7,500. As a result, 36% of households in Westchester County were living paycheck to paycheck, according to a new update from United Way of Westchester and Putnam and its research partner United For ALICE. To read the update and access interactive dashboards that provide data on financial hardship at the state, county and local levels, visit UnitedForALICE.org/New-York.
