Congratulations to One Paso on celebrating the first anniversary of their Community Center on World Mental Health Day on October 11th. Our Communications Director, Amy Rivera, joined in the festivities, enjoying salsa dancing and delicious snacks.

We are #NPWProud of One Paso’s success since its founding in 2020, and of the leadership of Executive Director Maria Alfara, MSOL in providing culturally responsive mental health education to Yonkers and Westchester County.

Human Resources Professionals Affinity Group Meeting: October 15th

Child Care Council of Westchester Announces New Executive Director

Child Care Council - Laura Newman new Executive Director

The Board of Directors of the Child Care Council of Westchester is pleased to announce that Laura Newman has been appointed Executive Director effective November 12, 2024. She succeeds Kathy Halas who has held the position since 2003 and announced her decision to step down earlier this year. Kathy will stay on and work together with Laura into December.

Concerts in Motion Expands to Westchester: Uplifting Communities and Combating Social Isolation Through Music

Concerts in Motion

Thanks to a generous grant from the Phelps Community Health Foundation, Concerts in Motion will bring its signature concerts to Westchester County.  Concerts in Motion will do this by connecting existing local resources for music programming in Mount Kisco, New Rochelle, Yonkers, and White Plains with those in these communities who experience social isolation.
