Emerging Leaders hosted by Wartburg and Y-COP on June 6th

The Emerging Leaders class had a fantastic visit to the beautiful Wartburg campus in Mt. Vernon on Thursday, June 6th. The class was honored to be greeted by Wartburg CEO David Gentner and also learn about the fascinating history of the residence from Rose Cappa-Rotunno, Vice President of Institutional Advancement.

Kerry Minto, Director of Institutional Advancement and Volunteerism and ELP Class of 2023 alum, led an info-packed presentation on leveraging volunteerism. The class was inspired by a super fun and engaging session from Henry Wilson, Y-COP Executive Director and NPW Board Member, who spoke about the importance of cultivating and building relationships with your agency volunteers. Mr. Wilson also highlighted the amazing partnership between Wartburg and Y-COP over the years.

The class was treated to a robust assortment of delicious hors d'oeuvres and wine. Plus - they were able to tour the brand new state-of-the-art Berkemeier Living Center. It was a truly memorable experience for all!

Huge thanks as always to our ELP Sponsor - M & T Bank!
