JMD, a White Plains based Employee Benefit Consulting firm, will present a workshop on several topics impacting employers, and non-profits in particular. The workshop will include important updates on the Affordable Care Act. In addition, the latest trends, including Private Exchanges, Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs), and the growing role of technology in benefits and HR will be discussed. There is no such thing as a "one size fits all" solution to the HR and benefits needs of non-profit organizations, and this workshop will provide in-depth information on these options and help cut through the confusion.

Joe Moschitto founded JDM in 1993 in an effort to bring innovative, client-focused solutions to its clients. Joe believes companies should expect more from their benefit consultant and strives to elevate the standards and expectations of human resources and finance professionals, as well as business owners.

As a small business owner with a background in accounting, Joe understands the challenges businesses face each year to offer a competitive benefits program that attracts top talent, while managing the ever rising costs of providing health care to its workforce. Joe works tirelessly to ensure JDM is at the forefront of the ever-changing insurance industry, and the changing and growing needs of businesses of all sizes. Jamie's career in health care spans over 20 years and has included leadership roles in employee benefits and insurance sales. He spent 10 years working in sales for carriers like Wellpoint and Oxford Health Plans. Jamie frequently presents and lectures to many organizations on the topic of the Affordable Care Act and sat of the New York State Health Benefit Exchange Regional Advisory Council. In addition, Jamie is the Immediate Past President of New York State Association of Health Underwriters (NYSAHU) and is an Executive Committee member of the Business Council of Westchester. In December 2015, Jamie was named in the Employee Benefit Adviser as one of the 14 politically active brokers to know across the U.S.
