The Open Door Family Medical Center provides medical, dental and behavioral care and wellness programs to individuals and families in need throughout Westchester, Putnam and Ulster Counties. A pioneer federally qualified health center with board certified physicians and clinical staff, Open Door provides more than 300,000 patient visits annually and serves over 60,000 individual patients who might not otherwise have access to care.

Despite the numerous challenges COVID-19 has presented, Open Door remains open and accessible to all people - regardless of their ability to pay. They are providing COVID-19 diagnostic testing as well as COVID-19 antibody testing to people in need of these tests:

• COVID-19 Viral Test: A diagnostic viral test is used if you have symptoms of infection or recent exposure. It’s done with a swab in the nose or throat, and it shows whether you have an infection right now.
  
  
• Antibody (or Serology) Test: An antibody test is used to show if you have been exposed to the virus in the past, and should not be done until at least two weeks have been since you were diagnosed with coronavirus, or since you started having symptoms. The antibody test is done by drawing blood from your arm. This test should not be done if you still have symptoms of an infection.
