EVENT RECAPS

The Southern Westchester NPW Nonprofit Meet Up was amazing on Thursday, May 30th! NPW member nonprofits got to meet new colleagues, connect with others, and find meaningful opportunities to collaborate.

As one partner stated, “I love networking events, but this was an amazing, intimate opportunity with immediate results. It was so inspiring to be reminded of all the incredible services in our community and find ways to partner to meet the needs of our residents.”

Nonprofit Members - we hope you will join us on June 5th at 2:00 PM at the YWCA of White Plains & Central Westchester - roundtable introductions from about 2:30 - 3:15 PM and/or send your team members! We love to see new faces. Register HERE - it’s free!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for NPW’s Peer to Peer Group on Friday, May 31st – the only affinity group in New York State for nonprofit personnel of color.

Under the inspiring leadership of Dr. Alexandria Connally, NPW's Racial Equity Consultant, the group celebrated its second anniversary and outlined its goals for the third year, continuing its commitment to learning and unlearning racial constructs and moving towards racial healing. Thank you to Michelle A. Nicholas, NPW Board Member and Founder & CEO of The NICO Consulting Inc., for also facilitating this group. Learn more about Peer to Peer here.

Thank you to the affinity group sponsors: PCSB Community Foundation, United Way of Westchester and Putnam, Pace University and Westchester Library System.
