Mission Statement
The CCBF was created to provide children in the community and surrounding areas the opportunity to meet and interact with established authors and illustrators and thereby promote among those children a love of, and respect for, the literary arts and illustration. The means of achieving this purpose is an annual children's book festival in Chappaqua, NY. In addition,the CCBF has made contributions to local charities that are working towards to goal of childhood literacy.
