A climate of heightened uncertainty has been created by the pandemic. By building scenario plans, nonprofit organizations can make best case predictions and consider possible outcomes that support smart decision-making and mission sustainability.

Sundus Kubba

Sundus is a senior finance professional with advisory, operational and budget management experience. Currently an independent consultant, Sundus worked at Barclays for over a decade in various functions, including investment banking and group strategy. Most recently, she headed the budget function for the cards and payment business’ back office. As a leader, Sundus is focused on executing against ambitious targets while advising internal and external stakeholders at rapidly growing or changing organizations. She established a strong track record of providing strategic counsel to executives, driving cost efficiencies and improving financial transparency. Sundus’ career started in engineering and she is a co-inventor on fifteen U.S. patents.

Sundus holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and an MSc and BSc in electrical engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.

Susan Newman

Sue has broad experience in the areas of business development and analysis, strategic planning, financial reporting, performance measurement and the integration of technology to achieve business objectives. A senior-level accounting and finance professional, Sue began as an auditor but shifted to providing management consulting services to debtors and creditors involved with chapter 11 and turnaround situations. In recent years, Sue has leveraged her professional experience to work with a variety of civic, educational and philanthropic organizations to further their missions. Most recently, she has held a number of senior leadership positions with Impact100 Westchester, a Westchester-based women’s collective giving nonprofit. As Treasurer, she restructured the financial reporting system and was instrumental in designing a rigorous financial due diligence process for reviewing grant applications. She now serves on the Advisory Council, providing strategic guidance and support for the current Executive Board.

Sue received a BS in Accounting & Finance, summa cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is also a British Chartered Accountant (ICAS) and a Quickbooks Online ProAdvisor.
