Mission Statement
Hearts & Homes for Refugees is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization founded on the belief that grassroots welcoming communities are the local solution to the global refugee crisis. We resettle refugees in local communities and inspire, educate and equip others to do the same. Together with community partners, faith, civic, student groups and U.S. Resettlement Agencies, we offer safe and inclusive communities and empower refugee neighbors to rebuild their lives with hope and dignity. Our model of holistic resettlement improves the long-term outcomes for refugees. Together, we change the lives of refugees as well as the lives of those who offer their time and resources to resettle new neighbors.
