PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Annual Meeting of the Members of Nonprofit Westchester (the “Annual Meeting”) will be held virtually on October 7th at 3:15 PM. The purpose of the Annual Meeting will be to discuss: 1) The vote to approve the slate of new NPW Board Members 2) The vote to approve the reelection of Board Members to their next terms 3) Review of the Organization’s 2026 Events and Accomplishments 4) The annual report from the Treasurer.

Each NPW member organization has one (1) vote. Any authorized person from your organization who attends the virtual meeting is allowed to vote, but only one such person from each organization may vote. Please make sure that you have determined who that individual is, and inform all others in your organization that only that person can vote on behalf of your organization. If you choose to not have anyone from your nonprofit organization attend the Annual Meeting, you may designate someone not from your organization to vote on your behalf at the Annual Meeting: a proxy. Be sure that your designated proxy will be attending the Annual Meeting and is willing to act as your proxy.

Election of Nominated Members:

The Governance Committee of the Board of Directors has nominated the individuals contained in the slate below to serve as Directors of Nonprofit Westchester for a three-year term. The following individuals are recommended by the Governance Committee for election to a first three-year term on the board beginning January 1, 2027 (bios linked below):

  • Laura Newman, Executive Director, Child Care Council
  • Terry Kirchner, Executive Director, Westchester Library System
  • Dr. Frank Sánchez, President, Manhattanville University
  • Thomas Scaglione, Senior Vice President, Government and Community Relations & Chief of Staff, Westchester Medical Center Health Network 

The following individuals are recommended by the Governance Committee for election to a second three-year term on the board, beginning January 1, 2027 (read bios for current Board Members here):

  • Nikki Hahn, CEO, Women's Enterprise Develpment
  • Tiffany S.W. Hamilton, CEO, YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester
  • Cynthia Knox, CEO, Caring for the Hungry and Homeless of Peekskill

The following individuals are recommended by the Governance Committee for election to a third three-year term on the board, beginning January 1, 2027:

  • Seth Diamond, CEO, Westchester Jewish Community Services
  • Judy Triolo, Executive Director, Leonard Litz Foundation
  • Judith Watson, CEO, Westchester Community Health Center

The following individual is recommended by the Governance Committee for election to a special fourth-year term on the board, beginning January 1, 2027, pending the October 7th, 2026 Board vote to approve an amendment to the bylaws*:
