Nonprofit board service is a terrific way for business people and professionals to make a valuable contribution to charitable organizations that serve their communities. Join us for a panel discussion at the HIA-LI Business Trade Show & Conference about the mutual benefits of nonprofit board service for nonprofits, businesses, and professionals. Topics will include the opportunities for positive recognition and reputation that board service brings; why certain businesses encourage board service; how nonprofits can benefit by being more connected to the business community; the benefits for businesses that connect with nonprofits; and how businesses can assist nonprofits. Come hear how members of the business community can get “on board” with a local nonprofit and start making a bigger impact today!
This seminar is intended for nonprofit executives and business owners, businesspeople, and professionals who are currently serving on a nonprofit board or thinking about joining a board. Young professionals who are interested in learning how to enhance their business skills through board service are particularly encouraged to attend.
