The YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester will host its annual Stand Against Racism on April 26, 2019, and encourages other organizations and individuals to join in this call to action. The theme is “No Hate. No Fear. Immigrant Justice is Racial Justice” and it intentionally aims to further the conversation around immigrants’ rights and the need to fight for their equality in the community. The YWCA is inviting participating sites and individuals to raise awareness that racism still exists in communities and can no longer be ignored or tolerated. The event will be held from 9:00 to 11:30 AM at Pace University’s Pleasantville Campus. Enroll at www.StandAgainstRacism.org and questions can be emailed to Aquinones@ywcawpcw.org. Registration is free! For more information, contact Ariana Quiñones, 914.816.2358.
