Digital Census Preparation Training

A Digital Census Preparation Training is being held at the Westchester Library System on December 18th from 9:30 AM-4:00 PM (lunch included). Nonprofits, Community-Based Organizations and Faith-Based Organizations are encouraged to attend.

The training is for anyone who intends to work with communities towards a complete count during Census 2020. If your organization is considering providing internet access and/or support services with the census survey, this training will help you create safe digital and non-digital pathways to participation.

The curriculum and training modules in this workshop include public-facing FAQs, reference interview materials, physical space security, holistic IT, secure participation kiosks, and more.

The training is broken into two tracks:

* Community Support - public facing reference information for staff and volunteers

* Public Access Point - professional IT information covering holistic digital security, including setting up census participation kiosks and securing wireless access points.
