PlantFest Is On Its Way! The most anticipated event of the gardening season — Teatown’s PlantFest — returns this year on May 7 and 8, just in time for Mother’s Day! This celebration offers green thumbs of all levels the opportunity to peruse and purchase a curated collection of native plants, annuals, perennials, herbs, shrubs, and more. “First Pick” will be from 10am – 12pm on Friday, May 7. “First Pick” offers plant enthusiasts a chance to browse and buy from the abundant selection of beautiful plants before the crowds arrive. Pre-registration is required and cost is $5/person. (A limited quantity of pre-registration “First Pick” tickets are available and may be purchased at www.teatown.org/plantfest) PlantFest opens up to the general public with free admission from 12pm – 4pm on Friday. And for those who may miss the first day (or want to return for a second round of shopping!), PlantFest continues on Saturday, May 8, 9am – 2pm, with free admission. Masks are required and social distancing is encouraged. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Parking is free for attendees during both days.
