Join Us for 2022 Summer Amphitheater Series and Summer Fridays! 

The HRM is thrilled to welcome you back for a new season of our popular Summer Amphitheater Series! This year, performances take place Friday and Saturday evenings, July 8–August 19, offering top-quality entertainment in an inspiring outdoor venue overlooking the majestic Palisades and the Hudson River. All performances are FREE and begin at 8pm with doors open at 7:30pm. No reservations are required; seating is first-come, first-served. Free parking is available.
 
Summer Fridays! Pay-what-you-wish admission every Friday evening, 5–7pm, from July 15–August 19. Experience the exhibitions currently on view, attend a free planetarium show at 6pm, and enjoy the outdoor courtyard with games for all ages. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Friday, July 8, 8pm 
Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra
Kick off the season with Yonkers’ own symphony orchestra, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year! Enjoy a lively evening of classical music with guest conductor Peter Szep, featuring an array of music from Bach, to jazz, to show tunes.

Casplash: African-American and Caribbean Band
The soothing sound of the steelpan and the soulful voice of lead-singer Richard Dixon will take you on a musical journey from classic calypso and soca music from Trinidad and Tobago, to popular reggae music from Jamaica, to old-school motown and R&B hits from here in the U.S.

The New York Korean Performing Arts Center
Professionals in Korean traditional music and dance will perform dazzling costumed dances from different regions and eras, with drum accompaniment and a solo performance by founder Sue Yeon Park.
 
Friday, July 22, 8pm
3D Rhythm of Life: Latin-Tropical Soul
This Latin-tropical-soul band, founded by drummer and lead singer Michael Tate and guitarist Chris Amelar, creates a unique style that blends funky Latin pop, island grooves, and R&B.

Tango Night                                                                                     
Latin Grammy Award–winning bassist and composer Pedro Giraudo is among the most compelling tango artists today. Join these musicians, singers, and dancers for a short tango lesson and performance with the band!

Skyhunters in Flight                                                                        
As night falls, watch trained birds of prey fly above you as falconer Brian Bradley demonstrates the special talents of live hawks, falcons, and owls.
 
Saturday, July 30, 8pm
Improv All StarsA Night of Comedy!                                                      
A quartet of NYC’s best improvisers use audience interactions to create hilarious comedy scenes with help from the audience. Projections of famous art will be used to inspire the interactions and the scenes themselves.

Afro-Peruvian Ensemble
This all-star band brings you the joyful sounds and rhythms of the Peruvian coast with a contemporary treatment that is rooted in tradition.
 
Saturday, August 6, 8pm
Clifton Anderson: Been Down This Road Before
Clifton Anderson is considered one of the leading trombonists and composers in jazz today. His stellar sextet will be performing selections from his latest release “Been Down This Road Before,” along with other fan favorites.

Natyamudra Classical Indian Dance
Liza Joseph, Director of the Natyamudra School of Dance based in Westchester, and a group of her students will perform various pieces from the Bharatanatyam repertory, followed by an interactive session inviting the audience to explore some basic movements of this dance style.
