Welcome to the WCRE roundup - the Westchester Center for Racial Equity's monthly e-newsletter. Here you'll find information about upcoming events offered by the Center, our partners and other aligned organizations.

Now is the time to reserve your spot for our Diversity Week Virtual Speaker Series. Founded in 1998, National Diversity Week raises awareness about the diversity which has shaped, and continues to shape, the United States. Our first-ever Diversity Week Virtual Speaker Series will present a slate of national experts and leaders who will discuss their work and trends in racial diversity for organizations and individuals. The WCRE Diversity Week Virtual Speaker series will offer inspiration, information, and solutions related to diversity and racial equity.

On Monday, October 3rd at 7 p.m. we will feature Monisha Kapila (ProInspire) and Tim Cynova (Work.Shouldn't.Suck) to discuss how leaders can create antiracist and racially equitable workplaces. On Tuesday, October 4th at 7 p.m., author and activist Denise Padin Collazo and Maro Davis (Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute) offer their perspectives on racial diversity as Latinx leaders. We close the series on Thursday, October 6th at 7 p.m. with author, activist and small business owner Jennifer Farmer in conversation with author and speaker Minda Harts discussing Black women's experiences with racial trauma. Please plan to join us at 7 p.m. for every night of this dynamic and exciting program.
