"Behind Closed Doors" Domestic Violence Awareness virtual program - Wednesday, October 26 at 7 PM

Join us to learn about the alarming reality of domestic violence that is concealed behind closed doors where only the occupants know of its existence; where victims, perpetrators and even their children carefully curate a persona that is far different from the reality of their lives.

Darlene Reda, Deputy Director for the Westchester County Office for Women, illuminates the complex dynamics underlying domestic violence and abuse, the prevalence of domestic violence in our Westchester communities and County initiative to address family violence, how to support someone who is experiencing domestic violence or abuse and local resources to turn to for help.

The Greenburgh library will be hosting the program on our Zoom account /registration is set to open on Monday, 9/26 - registration link
