NAMI Family-To-Family is an 8-week program structured to help family members understand and support individuals with serious mental health conditions while maintaining their own well-being.
The course is taught by a team of trained family members who know what it’s like to have a loved one suffering with mental health condition. The curriculum focuses on the diagnoses, medications, treatments, effective communication skills, problem solving techniques and how to advocate within the system.
NAMI Westchester offers the NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program free of charge to participants, beginning Saturday September 9, 2022. Classes will be held from 9:00-11:30am.
