Federal Update

White House and Senate negotiators announced an agreement early Wednesday morning on a massive financial rescue package designed to curb the economic damage of the COVID-19 pandemic. There was no immediate word from aides to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. With the House in pro forma session and many lawmakers unlikely to travel back to Washington, Pelosi will likely need to clear the package by voice vote or unanimous consent.

More to come as we learn the details.
