As part of County Executive George Latimer's Reopening Task Force, Nonprofit Westchester partnered with the Westchester County Association and Business Council of Westchester to coordinate efforts with nonprofit and regional businesses to advocate for the next round of federal stimulus. See the link below for an important advocacy letter to members of New York State's congressional delegation. This letter has gained the support of nearly 100 business and nonprofit organizations statewide.

Call your Member of Congress and tell them:
Congress needs to act immediately to pass legislation that provides an additional $1 trillion dollars of aid to state and local governments in response to COVID-19. New York’s nonprofit workers and businesses have stepped up. Many nonprofit workers have put themselves in harms-way to provide essential services - and these workers are largely people of color and women that have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. #Fight4NY.
