Our 2025 Westchester Nonprofit Compensation Survey is Open!

Nonprofit Westchester is partnering with Pace University on the 2025 Westchester Only Nonprofit Benefits and Compensation Survey.

Build on the success of our 2023 report by participating in the 2025 survey! Your participation will enable NPW to develop a current, robust database with the information necessary to support YOUR Westchester nonprofit.

Get the insights you need to benchmark salaries, hire effectively, and analyze compensation trends with confidence — all while supporting NPW’s efforts to advance fair and equitable nonprofit wages. Invest a small amount of time for a big impact!

  • Who should fill the survey? The CEO, ED, CFO or CHRO of your organization or a team assembled that can best answer the questions. We will only use one data set per organization, so please make sure the person best suited to answer the questions completes the survey. 
  • Preview: To help simplify the process before you start the survey, please use this PDF Preview to prepare your responses.
  • Timing: The survey should take between 15 and 45 minutes, depending upon the size of your organization.

  • Confidential: Your responses to this survey will be anonymous and confidential. When the results of this study are published, individual and organization names and other identifiable information will not be used. The data will be presented in aggregate form.
  • Other Details: Organizations based in Westchester with at least one paid staff member are eligible to fill out the survey. You do not have to be an NPW Member to complete this survey, but we hope you will consider joining.

To better assist you, we suggest you have the following items available as you complete the survey:

  • Organization EIN Number
  • Approximate budget amount
  • Employee diversity data
  • Salary data (averages by position and gender)
  • Recent salary increases (overall)
  • Benefit types, amounts, and eligibility criteria
