Choosing Between Employee Wellness and Productivity is a False Dichotomy; Upcoming Workshops, Available PPE

There’s been a lot of hand-wringing over the perceived choice between and/or the need to “balance” productivity and well-being… but this is a false dichotomy. In fact, when organizations focus on the mental health and well-being of their employees, especially now, productivity will increase.

On June 4th, as part of Nonprofit Westchester’s Returning to the Workplace Series, industry experts discussed Mental Health Matters and offered practical strategies to advance wellness and promote a healthy, productive workplace.

  • Michael Orth, MSW, Commissioner, Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health

  • Dr. Adwoa Akhu, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Twenty years in Private Practice and former president of the New York Association of Black Psychologists

  • Bernadette Kingham-Bez, SVP, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Executive Director of St. Vincent’s Hospital Westchester
